As WOYIT is not a tombola like any other, we decided to offer a job, a real job with all the tools you need to success in your new life.
- Employment description: Hostel Manager
The price is including:
- Travel “round ticket” from home to Koh Samui’s airport with a maximum amount limit (but enough to travel from all the part of the globe)
- Work permit and visa for one year in Thailand
- Salary and tax paid by the promoter
- Accommodation and meals at the hostel, during the duty time.
- Duration of the daily work as requested by needing
- 15 working days a month MAXI
- Mission:
o Hostel manager oversees all aspects of hostel activity, including catering and accommodation facilities, administration and reception duties, and general management.
o marketing the business;
o advising members;
o controlling a budget;
o staffing reception and taking bookings;
o planning menus and arranging catering;
o arranging laundry and linen supplies;
o planning staff rotations and duties;
o purchasing supplies and arranging repairs;
o training, recruiting and supervising staff;
o inspecting hostel areas and ensuring health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards are met;
o overseeing and developing hostel activities/programs
o Managers of youth hostels may live in or outside the hostel.

Terms and Conditions
“Win 1 Year in Thailand”
1. The promoter of the tombola is Dancing Elephant Co Ltd (hereafter known as the Promoter) of 95/16 Moo 6 BAANTAI, Haadrin Village, 84280 SURAT THANI THAILAND
2. By entering the Draw, the Entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and agrees that the decision of the Promoter is binding and final.
3. The aim of this program is to offer to an adult, the unique opportunity to start in life with an amazing dreamed experience.
4. The purchase, of minimum one ticket, is necessary to enter into the tombola. No free ticket.

6. The UNIQUE prize is:
Work and live in Thailand one year, for one person.- Hostel MANAGER job (see Job description in Annexe)
- Travel “round ticket” from home to Koh Samui’s airport with a limit of 45.000 thb value travelling envelope.
- Work permit and visa for one year in Thailand
- Salary and tax paid by the promoter
- Accommodation and meals at the hostel, during the duty time.
7. The prize does not include travel to and from the nearest international flight connection, airport transfers, travel insurance. Please note that suitable travel insurance coverage is compulsory.
8. The winner will be required to either take out appropriate travel insurance in place at time of travel and will be responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport with minimum six month validity beyond the return date, and that they are eligible and obtain a Thai Immigration visa in good time for travel.
9. The organizers cannot be held liable if it proves impossible to contact the winner because of incorrect or incomplete details that would have passed. The price will be awarded to the next in the final standings of the game if the winner could not be contacted within a maximum period of 5 days after the announcement of final results because of incorrect coordinates.
Similarly, a winner does not respond to the announcement made to him of his win by whatever means he will put at the disposal of the organizer will lose the benefit of this gain in the same period of 3 days after this announcement.
The prize will be assigned to his next in the final standings of the game
10. Prize is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and will only be given to the Winner.
The price cannot be transfer of ownership to the winner of the game will be by deed in which the costs will be borne by the organizer of the game.
The date of start of the contract will be mutually determined between Dancing Elephant Co ltd, and winner of the game, but that time cannot exceed two (2) months after the date of promulgation of results.
The prize awarded may not give rise to any exchange or refund of its value-cons, in whole or in part, in kind or in cash.
11. The organizer will not incur any liability if, in cases of force majeure or events beyond its control techniques damage disrupted the game, leading to its extension.
The organizer reserves all rights to cancel or amend the regulations dictated by circumstances or force majeure.
In case of insufficient entries, the organizer reserves the right to:
• Extend the game for three (3) months, renewable once at the discretion of the organizer
• Cancel the game simply by reimbursing those who already participated.
The organizer of this Tombola is not responsible for any incidents and / or accidents that may occur during the enjoyment of the prize and / or its use.
12. As the winner and Dancing Elephant Co Ltd will be linked by contract and as this contract is a working contract, the contract can be cancelled in case of incapacity to hold the job properly.
The cancellation of the employment contract will not give any right to any compensation whatsoever and will result in immediate loss of benefits in kind and financial related to this contract, according to the Thailand labors laws.
Cancellation of work permit, suspension of salary with immediate effect.
If the cancellation of the contract work was involved in the first half of the contract (from 1 to 183 days), the return ticket will at the winner’s charge and that because of visa costs, work permit incurred by the company and taxes. These fees paid to official organization for one year.
13. The Tombola is open to anyone over 18 years and less than 30 y/o.
14. The Tombola will take place after all tickets will be sold with a deadline of October 12th 2011, 7:00 pm. The winner of the Tombola shall be chosen at random from all entrants, the 12th October 2011, 10:00 pm. The person who will do the draw will be a Dancing Elephant guest, present only for this Full Moon Party week.
15. The Winner shall be notified on the 12th October 2011 via their submitted email address.
16. By entering the Competition each Entrant agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and nationality to be displayed as a winner on different website.
17. The Winner will be required to send the Promoter in a photo of himself/ herself along with some information such as one word to describe themselves, what they are looking forward to most about their trip for further marketing purposes following the competition.
18. The Winner shall be given five calendar days from the date of notification to claim the prize. In the event that the Winner fails to respond in writing via e-mail within that period, chooses not to accept the Prize, is ineligible for the Draw or fails to duly complete, execute and return any document required by the Promoter, he/she shall be immediately disqualified from the Draw and he/she shall forthwith relinquish any right or entitlement to the Prize. The Promoter shall then draw from all remaining eligible entries and an alternative Entrant shall be selected as winner of the Prize.
19. The Alternative Winner shall be notified via his/her submitted email address. The Alternative Winner shall be given three calendar days from the date of notification to claim the Prize. In the event that the Alternative Winner fails to respond in writing via e-mail within that period, chooses not to accept the Prize, is ineligible for the Draw or fails to duly complete, execute and return any document required by the Promoter, he/she shall be immediately disqualified from the Draw and he/she shall forthwith relinquish any right or entitlement to the Prize. The Prize shall then be returned to the inventory and the Tombola shall be discontinued.
20. There is no limitation of entry per email address will be accepted. The Promoter will accept multiple entries using the same email address or same name.
21. Each Entrant releases and holds the Promoter and its employees, agents, sub-contractors and consultants harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Tombola or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any Prize, including without limitation, personal injury, property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
22. The Promoter shall not be liable for any breach of its obligations hereunder resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to fires, strikes (of its own or other employees), insurrection or riots, embargoes, delays in transportation, requirements or regulations of any civil or military authority, computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failure and the Promoter shall be entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Tombola and these terms and conditions without liability.
23. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or discontinue this competition or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability to Participants.
